SOC 212 - Race, Class, Ethnicity

Outcome 1:
Students will develop knowledge of the interrelationships between social classes, race, gender, and sexual orientation.

Outcome 2:
Students will apply core sociological theories to readings and case studies.

Outcome 3:
Students will demonstrate an understanding of sociological terms and concepts related to the study of social class, race, ethnicity, and gender.

Outcome 4:
Students will examine and evaluate sociologically based perspectives regarding social class, race, ethnicity, and gender.

Outcome 5:
Students will provide analyses of the study of social class, race, ethnicity, and gender through formal writing.

Outcome 6:
Students will express theoretically and empirically base analyses in small groups.
