Geography Outcomes

Outcome 1:
Know and use geographic information by being able to create, interpret, and use maps and spatial data.

Outcome 2:
Utilize geographic skills to analyze historical, cultural, economic, demographic, political, and environmental issues.

Outcome 3:
Demonstrate the ability to synthesize information and data to convey spatial relationships.

Locate, map and describe major physical and human geographic features at the local, regional, national, and global levels.

Understand the application of spatial theories and concepts at both the small and large scale.

Explain the characteristics, distribution, and migration of human populations in terms of physical, cultural, and economic factors and conflicts through formal and informal writing activities.
